100% ORGANIC MATCHA GREEN TEA AND JAPANESE CHERRY BLOSSOM LEAVES

Matcha is a fine powdered green tea commonly used in sadou (the tea ceremony). The tea bushes are shaded from direct sunlight and only the young fresh green leaves are selected for Matcha. They are then steamed in the same way as for Gyokuro(玉露), and
turned into tencha(甜茶) (non-ground leaves) by drying without rolling, and finally ground in a stone mill.

The indescribable fragrance produced by cherry blossom leaves is an aromatic ingredient called "coumarin." It is a type of polyphenol contained in many plants in the form of glycosides.

Coumarin is said to have sedative, relaxing, and sleep-promoting effects.
